Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine

Without question, Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine features the highest profile board of editors among the competition (both print and online). All are world-class investigator/clinicians. Dimanakah Gambar pada Blogger Disimpan?

Para pengguna Blogger tentunya sudah sangat dimudahkan oleh fasilitas pada Blogger yang secara otomatis menyimpan gambar yang di-upload ke blog.

Namun, di balik kemudahan itu terkadang timbul satu pertanyaan, di manakah sebenarnya gambar-gambar tersebut disimpan? Biasanya pertanyaan tersebut baru muncul ketika Kita ingin menggunakan gambar yang telah digunakan pada sebuah posting untuk digunakan lagi pada posting yang lainnya. Seperti Saya..


Ternyata setiap Kita membuat akun Google untuk membuat blog, secara otomatis Kita akan memperoleh satu akun Picasa Web Albums. Satu akun Picasa Web Albums menyediakan ruang sebesar 1 GB untuk menyimpan dan berbagi gambar yang kita upload. Jadi, selain gambar yang secara otomatis tersimpan pada saat kita upload gambar dari Blogger, Kita dapat pula meng-upload gambar langsung ke Picasa Web Albums ini.

Untuk mengakses Picasa Web Albums, ketik http://picasaweb.google.com pada browser.

Masukkan nama dan password akun Google Anda (nama dan password yang digunakan untuk masuk ke akun Blogger Anda).


Apabila sebelumnya Anda telah memasukkan gambar profil dan gambar di dalam posting dari blog, Anda akan melihat 2 buah folder :

• Folder pertama dengan nama "Blogger Pictures", berisi gambar-gambar yang digunakan untuk profil Blogger Anda.

• Folder kedua dengan nama yang sama dengan judul blog Anda, berisi gambar-gambar yang Anda gunakan pada posting blog Anda.

Pertanyaan selanjutnya, bagaimana cara mengetahui lokasi/ alamat masing-masing gambar yang tersimpan ("direct link") agar dapat ditempatkan pada posting-an lain atau bahkan pada web lainnya?

Caranya :

• Klik gambar yang akan dilihat lokasi/ alamatnya.

• Pada bagian kanan halaman, klik link bertuliskan "Link to this Photo".

• Klik checkbox "Image only (no link)".

• Pilih ukuran yang diinginkan dengan mengisi kotak di samping "Select size" menggunakan menu drop down.

• Nah, lokasi/ alamat gambar yang dicari terdapat pada kotak di bawah teks "Embed image".

• Copy alamat tersebut, kemudian simpan atau paste-kan pada lokasi yang Anda tuju.

Bagaimana, mudah bukan?

Robbins Pathologic Basis of Disease

It is hard to imagine a pathologist, whether a trainee or consultant, who would not benefit from reading or at least referring to this book. Most older pathologists will possess earlier editions as Robbins has been a standard text for many years. This sixth edition represents the evolution of the best single volume textbook on general pathology and the editors are to be congratulated in having resisted the temptation to overturn the book's familiar order in the name of innovation. Instead, they have sympathetically expanded the text, which now includes a phenomenal amount of information. A particularly welcome development is the chapter on ocular pathology for the generalist and the reorganisation of the chapter on infectious diseases taxonomically. The book has a very broard appeal: it could be read with profit by consultant pathologists, but is still suitable as an undergraduate text for medical students, as it starts from first principles and extends to the limits of knowledge. Robbins will remain the book of choice for diligent students, who will be inspired by the thorough scientific grounding in pathology that it provides. UK universities that believe this factual knowledge to be redundant should consider the popularity of Robbins in the US, and with practicing diagnostic pathologists in the UK, and think again.
